Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter (2012)

As a boy, Abraham Lincoln tries to stop a brutal attack on a black child which results in the termination of his father's employ due to his father getting involved. However, the father had some debt to be owed which was taken by other means - the death of Abraham's mother by a vampire which he witnesses. Many years later, still looking for revege, Abraham finds the murderer and kills him. But the attempt was unsuccessful as he didn't know/understand the vampire and the vampire quickly gets up to attack. Before Abraham is killed, he is helped by a stranger, Henry, he met at the bar earlier and reluctantly Henry helps Abraham to become a vampire hunter.

I've kinda broke my ruling of watching horror films that I hadn't seen as I've been told that I saw this in the cinema when it came out. However, I really can't recall seeing it and I felt like I was watching it for the first time. The film itself is quite enjoyable and I like the "alternate" history style of fitting vampire hunting in Abraham's earlier days before melding that with his political career later on.

Most moment: The fight scene when Abraham and co go and rescue his friend from Adam - the head vampire.
